Beef Stew Recipe

Beef Stew
Preparation Time 25 mins Servings 4 persons


500g Lean Beef (cut into chunk)
150g Potatoes (cut into cubes)
100g Carrot (cut into cubes)
100g Celery (sliced)
1 large Onion (chopped)
2 tsp Garlic (chopped)
2 Bay Leaves
2 tbsp Olive Oil
500ml Water
2 tbsp Plain Flour (Lightly brown in a non-stick pan with low heat, add 1 tbsp water before using)

Seasoning Sauce

1½ tbsp MAGGI No Added MSG Seasoning
½ tsp Pepper Powder
1 cube Ikan Billis Stock Cube


1. Heat Olive Oil in Pan, sauté garlic and onion till fragrant. Add in celery, beef and bay leaves, stir-fry well, add in water.
2. Boil till beef nearly cooked, add in potatoes and carrot, continues to boil till beef is tender, stir in the plain flour for thickening.
3. Season with MAGGI No Added MSG Seasoning and pepper powder before serving.
