Sweet and Sour Prawns with Assorted Fruits

Ingredients

  • 15 Large Prawns (shelled, veins removed but tail retained)
  • ½ tablespoon MAGGI seasoning
  • Adequate multi-purpose flour for dusting
  • Adequate Cooking oil for deep-frying
  • 1 tin Lychee (do not use the syrup)
  • ¼ fresh Pineapple (sliced)
  • 1 slice fresh Honeydew Melon (cut into wedges)
  • 5 Water Chestnut (peeled and sliced)
  • 3 slices of Ginger
  • 2 tbsp Canola Oil
  • Seasoning (Mixed Together)

  • 4 tbsp MAGGI Tomato Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Plum Sauce
  • 50ml Lemon Juice
  • 3 tbsp Water
  • Garnishing

  • 1 stalk Coriander leaves (cut into sections)
  • Method

    1. Season prawns with MAGGI seasoning and dust with multi-purpose flour. Deep-fry in hot oil till golden brown.
    2. Heat Canola oil to sauté ginger till fragrant. Add seasoning sauce, assorted fruits and prawns. Stir-fry evenly. Sprinkle spring onion to garnish before serving.
