BL BIFIDUS® – A proprietary strain of friendly active cultures that helps to maintain a healthy digestive system by suppressing the growth and activity of harmful bacteria. PREBIO® 1 – A proprietary blend of dietary plant fibres that support the growth of beneficial gut bacteria. DHA – Important building block for brain and eye development. Available in 2 variants and are suitable for babies after 6 months: Rice with Apple & Cranberry – Stage 1 (For babies aged 6 – 24 months) Rice is an ideal first cereal as it rarely causes allergies. It reduces intestinal fluid loss and helps to speed up recovery from diarrhoea. Apples are rich in pectin, which inhibits harmful bacteria and also helps to shorten the duration of diarrhoea. Cranberries are laden with antioxidant and vitamin C. Wheat with Oats & Prunes – Stage 2 (For babies aged 6 – 24 months) Wheat and oats are good sources of natural fibre. Prunes are filled with good fibre that helps to facilitate bowel movement and relieve constipation.
Note: According to the latest recommendation from Singapore Health Promotion Board, solid food should be given to baby after 6 months old. Breast milk is encouraged to continue as part of the diet.
