KIT KAT®
Have a break, have a KIT KAT®
Created in 1935, KIT KAT® was first known as Rowntree Chocolate Crisp. Two years later, the name was changed to KIT KAT®.

In 1998 KIT KAT® became part of Nestlé’s range of confectionery products. It is enjoyed as a light snack by both the young and old. Today, it is exported to more than 11 countries in Asia.

"Have a break, have a KIT KAT®" has become a familiar phrase. It aptly describes the enjoyment of the chocolate-coated wafers whenever one needs to chill out, such as when you are in the midst of a heavy assignment.

Here’s how to have a break…KIT KAT® style:

1. Push the wafer out of the red wrapper.
2. Score your nail along the foil-wrapped wafer fingers.
3. Break off a wafer finger at a time.
4. Snap a wafer finger in half and ... enjoy!!!

KIT KAT® CHUNKY
The popularity of KIT KAT® resulted in the launch of KIT KAT
® Chunky – the famous crisp crunchy wafer enveloped in thicker chocolate coating in a bigger size, giving a bigger ‘pleasure’ and greater sense of indulgence and satisfaction to the consumer. Thus the tag line: “Have a BIG Break, Have a KIT KAT® Chunky”. First launched in the UK and Ireland in 1999, KIT KAT® Chunky was an overwhelming success leading to explosive growth and acceptance everywhere - it is now sold in Continental Europe, Australia, South Africa, Japan, Canada, Middle East and many other countries around the world.

Launched in April 2000 in Singapore, KIT KAT® Chunky was a similar success, propelling the
KIT KAT
® brand to No.1 position.
In April 2002, KIT KAT® Chunky White was launched as the additional line extension for the Chunky range – providing white chocolate lovers a unique combination of white chocolate with a crisp crunchy wafer. Recently in June 2003, KIT KAT® Caramel Chunky was introduced to Singapore, an indulgent Chunky bar filled with delicious creamy caramel with the signature crisp wafer.

New products to look out for include KIT KAT® 2 Fingers in Mint and Orange flavours from the UK. Indulge!
